Every PiviPet arrives as an adoption rather than a purchase, so it comes with everything that makes it theirs.

• A collectible travel carrier — their home for the journey, and a keepsake afterwards.
• An Adoption Info Card — species, personality and PiviPower.
• The PiviPledge — a promise your child reads aloud to welcome them home.
• An Adoption PiviPendant — a wearable tag naming the animal they adopted.
• A Magic Gem — a stone with a power of its own.
• A themed habitat — chosen to suit your companion’s world.

The gem’s power belongs to the stone. Your animal’s PiviPower is its own, printed on the Adoption Info Card — so every PiviPet arrives with something it teaches you and something it gives you.

Not online — yours is chosen for you, the same way the colors are. Half the pleasure is finding out which power came home with you.

At a craft fair you can pick. That is one of the few things we can offer in person that we cannot offer here, so if you have your heart set on a particular power, come and find us at a show.

It depends on the animal and on what is in the workshop that week. A patch of ground, a bed of stones, a scrap of forest floor — each one is chosen to suit the species rather than pulled from a bin.

Habitats are cut to fit the carrier, so yours arrives already at home in it.

PiviPets are recommended for ages 3 and up. They contain small parts and moving joints, so they are not intended for children under 3, and small parts can pose a choking hazard.

We recommend adult supervision for children under 6, and inspecting your pet regularly for loose parts or damage. You know your child best — please use your judgement about what is right for them.

Gently, and they will last for years.

• Handle with care — avoid forcing the joints or moving parts.
• Store safely — away from sharp objects or anywhere they could be crushed.
• Clean simply — a soft cloth and mild soap. No harsh chemicals or abrasives, which damage the print surface.

It is built up in layers rather than injection-molded, which is what gives each one its texture and its one-of-a-kind coloring — but it also means they are not as tough as mass-produced plastic.

The joints and moving parts are the sensitive bits. Treated gently they hold up well; forced, they can break. Think of them as collectibles that happen to move, rather than toys built to be thrown across a room.

Small imperfections are part of the process. We photograph any noticeable variation so you know what is arriving.

No — and that is deliberate. Every PiviPet is printed in multicolor filament that shifts as it prints, so no two ever come out the same. Not even we know how yours will look until it is finished.

The details are painted by hand afterwards, which makes each one more distinct still. The reveal when the carrier opens is part of the adoption.

The same chinchilla, four times. This is why we cannot promise you a color.

We ship within the US only at this time.

Every PiviPet is printed and hand-finished after you order — nothing sits in a warehouse. Orders leave our Maryland workshop within 5 to 7 business days, and you will get a confirmation email with tracking when yours is on its way.

After dispatch, delivery usually takes 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.

During busy periods, processing can take a little longer. If your order is time-sensitive — a birthday, the last day of term — tell us before you order and we will let you know honestly whether we can make it.

Yes. Every order ships with tracking, and the number arrives by email as soon as your parcel is on its way.

If you have not received your dispatch email, check your spam folder first, then get in touch and we will look it up.

We will put it right. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and of the packaging, and we will replace it or refund you.

Please keep the box — if a parcel was damaged in transit we may need it for the shipping claim.

Yes, within 30 days, as long as the item is unused, undamaged and in its original packaging.  

Email us first so we can give you a return address, and include your order number with the parcel. Return postage is yours to cover unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Custom or personalized pieces, sale items and gift cards cannot be returned. Digital downloads cannot be returned once they have been downloaded.

We inspect returns when they arrive and email you either way within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method — your bank usually takes another 5 to 10 business days to post it.

If it has been longer than that and nothing has appeared, let us know and we will chase it.

Yes. If you would like a particular set of colors, or something else entirely, send us a message and we will reply within 24 to 48 hours.

Mention the animal you have in mind and roughly what you are after. For a collaboration, a short description of the idea is enough to start.

We do — PiviPets was created by a special education teacher, and classroom sets are part of why they exist. Every animal carries a PiviPower: one social-emotional idea written in language a child can repeat.

The dragons, fidgets and seasonal minis that started all this are craft-fair only now, sold in person while supplies last. Once a piece is gone it is not coming back.

If you spot us at a show, that is your chance.
